No references even and still (for once) it wasn't a 2 hour struggle of NOTHING LOOKS RIGHT! Granted it's not a complicated pose but whatever I still feel proud!

I'm finally making an updated reference sheet for my char. I also have the side view sketched out (which WAS one of those struggles. Getting her face right was horrible. I started worrying about my paper being permanently grey)

It's funny but the realistic version of my fursona actually is very little like me XD She's not specifically anything I aspire to either, but is mostly a collection of 'stuff I like'. I <3 big cat chins so much but I don't want one myself! lol

Her body shape is more accurate to my own (but exaggerated) mostly because I learned to draw female bodies from photos of myself and I just like that shape :p (but with muscles!)

Toony beetle is much softer overall (like myself). Rounder face. Smaller nose. More housecat and less lion.
