Ash stood high on the world, so large that, if standing straight, he would be taller than the planet itself. And though he hid it quite well, he did enjoy being massive, though perhaps this was a bit too much for his tastes. After all, he could end life on a fourth of a planet and cause worldwide suffering for the remaining three-fourths with a single step.

Still, if there was this ‘reset button’ within the pages, surely the destruction would be undone, right?

His eyes became sharp as meteors flew in a bit too near Earth. Then, with a quick tug, he pulled out his rapier and sliced the meteors to bits with the grace of a fencer. Oh, so simple for someone like him, enough that he was standing on one foot when he did that.

“That’s awesome, Ketchum!” Alex said, and Ash’s ears wiggled. He turned down, with Alex leaping forward and landing on all two. He gave out a massive grin to Ash, his tail wagging. “You save the Earth! So, how does it feel to be the biggest one in the group?”

“Interesting,” Ash said, slicing up another meteor. “But you are incorrect. I’m not the biggest.”

“Huh? Then who—”

The entire world shook, and Alex turned to the side, blinking. Then, at once, massive fingers grabbed onto the world as though they came from under. In fact, it was quite curious that they didn’t crush the world like some kind of grape.

“Who also touched that book!?” Alex yelled, and as though in response, the fingers spun the Earth around so that they faced the one who grabbed hold of it. “You have got to be kidding me.”
