that is an awesome effect on the background with the green and gray. also, i like hooded characters

Thank you. It actually wasn't that hard. I painted the BG that shade of gray, then I put a big swatch of black along the right side and used the smudge tool to drag it out. When I was satisfied with that I magic wand the gray area and selected that star brush set it to white and went nuts. Then went over to the black area and did the same thing with the same brush but in green..
