I drew this after thinking of the word "intertitle." It feels nightmarish to me. Not the scary kind, but the kind where you get sucked into a looped activity, or find yourself constantly having to open doors but can't get to your destination.

seeing this I got an idea for a short animation
where each one of those drawings one after the other is a different animation frame
and the camera zooms in across them, starting off slow but speeding up enough that they actually animate
but then in the animation itself they're holding those papers and flipping through them to create a seperate animation too
