The Arid Reign Wyvern is an aerial predator native to the vast drylands of the Elysium Continent. It is an excellent flyer; the fan-like membrane on its relatively short tail provides some extra surface area, as well as aiding in aerial maneuvers.

This particular wyvern species is specialized in hunting smaller prey: young tapirunners, smaller ornithopod dinosaurs, birds, and lizards. However, it is also a nest raider. Whenever the opportunity presents itself, it will steal hatchlings and eggs of other wyvern species earning itself their (well deserved) ire.

The tough scales and spikes that cover this wyvern's body provide him with some decent defenses against potential aggressors. In terms of natural weapons, the Arid Reign Wyvern relies on its clawed feet and jaws, as it does not possess any breath weapon. It's not even venomous. All it has is speed, claws, and a vicious disposition.
