Kakozan was a city that succumb to an ancient plague long ago, the unnatural circumstances of what caused the virus left behind thousands of "potential soldiers". From the river of souls to the abysmal caverns, perfectly preserved bodies await their masters to awaken them, that's if after they can fight off the countless ghouls that already roam the city wildly, feeding of the flesh of any and all foolish enough to adventure without the proper preparations.
