There exists a place deep in those woods that few will ever tread. A place long since forgotten to time, ancient and alien but still very much alive. It is unlike anywhere else in that forest. Strangely familiar, yet foreign and unknown. There is an air of mystery as the moonlight pierces the canopy and lights the forest floor. Flowers seems to faintly glow in the light, and a gentle fog clings to the land. It is here that he explores, secluded and ostracized from the world around him, so like his peers yet he is forever a stranger to them. This place called to him, and so he went. Ancient knowledge lost to the world remains in this forgotten place, waiting for those brave enough to find it.
I decided that Orlendr lives in a kind of self imposed exile, desperate to learn and explore the mysteries of the world that others insist should be left forgotten. Having long since left his society behind, he delves deeper and deeper into what others would consider taboo, seeking knowledge about life and death itself. One day he may even conquer some of those grand mysteries and find even greater secrets to uncover.
Another absolutely gorgeous piece from the very talented Noxeri ^^ I love the sense of atmosphere in this piece. The cool lighting and colors give it a slightly ethereal feeling while still feeling familiar. There is just the sense that there is more to this forest than what can be seen on the surface. And of course, I love how it compliments my boy! He truly looks at home here.
