Dahrling!! I freaking loved this tv show back in my early years of community college, every other break between classes I had I'd watch it, and in the public bus rides back home. The first hundred or so episodes by the guy who would go on to do Patlabor and the Ghost in the Shell theatrical anime movies were obviously the best. And my favorite episodes are the one where they do Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None
..... but the nursery rhyme was a Japanese one involving an ornate Cuckoo clock and the murders were all faked to try to cure Atari of his lechery, the Baseball Game prank episode, the episode where the school library gets so disorganized that the book characters start to jump out of the books, the second movie Beautiful Dreamer, and all the little experimental moments from the first half of the series when Mamoru Oshii was in charge.
