‘Mmm,… this is really good cake,… isn’t it Ozzy?’
“I remember birthday celebrations from the island I used to live on, though they were never a very big deal, and on Nightshade Island the Islanders don’t even seem to know what birthdays are, much less celebrate them. Of course, they also don’t really record the passage of time the way most others do, so I guess it makes sense that they wouldn’t do much with birthdays. But, since I started making friends on other islands I’ve been introduced to other traditions and customs regarding birthdays that I hadn’t known about,… like Birthday Cakes.”

‘I could get used to birthdays like this,…’
Well, it’s May 16th, which means once again it is my birthday. :D. And it seems I’ve got quite a few pictures for it this year, mostly from my great friends online, but also acouple I decided to treat myself to, like this adorable picture from
usagiforehead with Ember and Ozzy enjoying some birthday cake. I figured since past years had Ember in peril, with a cake nearby, this year I’d let her enjoy some of it instead. ;).
I gotta say, this is such a sweet and cute picture, and they both look so happy enjoying this treat. I always like how Ember looks in Usagi’s style, especially how long he draws her hair, and this is no exception, I love how she really seems to be savoring that cake, and the bit of frosting on her cheek is a great touch. I gotta say, I adore how Usagi draws Ozzy, the big looks always looks so cute and friendly, you just wanna hug him, and he would love that, and to see him munching on some cake like that, cheek bulged abit, some frosting on the side, is just too cute. And I must say, that is a good-looking cake, no wonder these two look so happy and festive, so rather than say more, I think I’ll just let them enjoy it, and I hope you enjoy as well. :)

Ah yes, one thing that Ember no doubt really appreciates, delicious sweats like cake. ;)
Very cute pic! I do wonder though how they figured out what day Ember would have been born, probably just picked a random day. Then again, could also be the case she was invited to yours. ;)

Oh, indeed, Ember has quite the sweet tooth, so she definitely appreciates sweets, especially cake. ;)
Oh, indeed it is. Yeah, that is a good question, possibly they just used a known date for great cosmic importance, or, she was invited to mine, same thing really. ;)
