A fertile hard-working workhorse named Brawler rests for the sake of his pregnancy. Brawler never wanted to leave the fields, taking pride in his ethic and strength. So when he and his donkey lover Bartholomew first learned he was pregnant, he saw no reason to stop, in fact feeling like he was not only letting the rest of the farm down but dragging it back. As his pregnancy advanced, other farm members became worried for him and his hinnies, fearful he’ll strain himself into premature labor or do some other harm. His confidence in his strength and his pride in his ethic would not let him hear them out, brushing aside their worries as nothing; not even the farm representative James could convince. It took the tears of Bartholomew to shake him out of his refusal and accept the leave. Spending a most of his waking hours on his hay mattress has admittedly put him in a sour mood, but anything to help the farm out in the long run and to keep Bartholomew happy was all he needed. Besides, he’s found a new non-strenuous way to show his strength: how big he’s gotten has stretched his skin out quite a lot, and the fact it remains not just intact but taut amazes everyone at the farm including him at just how hardy he truly is. That and his children inherited their maternal father’s strength, so he lets other farm members feel his belly for the chance to experience the hinnies’ kicks and squirms when they visit him. By far his favorite guests are Bartholomew of course and a curious chimeric creature with a particularly peculiar personality.
