This is another image that I will likely never finish. I've had this floating around on multiple computers and two harddrives for... probably over a year. I drew it so I could adopt the far right fox from Kaylink but I grew bored of it quickly. Ronny in the center there looks absolutely horrible and, no matter how much I love Blake and Calloway (left and right respectively), I cannot bring myself to bother with Ronron.
So here it is, so I can stop worrying about it. I linked to it in the meme in my journal a few minutes ago, but quickly decided to upload it to my gallery to go with my other Ronny pictures. It's about time the internet masses met Blake and Calloway anyway.
Blake is an older spirit fox who was assigned as Ronny's mentor. Meek and rather soft-spoken, he stood no chance against Ronny's brash, narcissistic nature, and was therefore unable to really teach or convince her much of anything. Once assigned, a mentor cannot venture more than a certain distance from their charge so Blake is kind of stuck with her until she "rescues" her first wayward soul.
And Calloway is Ronny's charge, ironically enough. She's supposed to be teaching him about saving souls and being a guardian angel of sorts to humans in need, but instead, she's teaching him all of her worst habits (being lazy, cheating the system, breaking the rules, avoiding consequences). The whole story revolves around the idea that Ronny is a terrible role-model and Cal's presence makes this very clear. x3
All three characters are dead when introduced. Blake died of the bubonic plague back in medieval times (which has left him a crazy neurotic paranoid germaphobe in his new life x3), Ronny was killed by a crazy stalker determined to be her boyfriend or die trying, and Calloway died because he's an idiot who tried to deep fry a frozen turkey and set his house on fire.
I love these guys. They are such a fun troupe of critters.
blah blah don't steal blah
Surprise surprise, all three of these guys were actually designed by Kaylink. x3 Blake and Calloway were both adopted, while Ronny's fox form was designed in her fox maker. She is the goddess of all things fox. <3
