I dropped off of TLG right before the rise of Scar movie, but I still found it interesting (it just became too much, like, war/territory defense-centric for my liking). The magical aspects had always bugged me though - so I tweaked the design of Kion a bit because I liked the idea of the guard symbol being born from cub spots (but stayed while the spots faded), and THAT was the thing that signaled the return of the lion guard.
