Sonic is normally always wearing his sneakers and does do a lot of running, so even though it's in the form of tickling Irwind's feathery fingers and methodical tickling might actually feel quite nice on his feet. Zenzeng tickling his armpits and all that laughter will also be good for exercising his lungs and a good workout for a runner.
So viewing it in terms of a good workout, Sonic might actually not mind getting caught.
