When my mate and I first met, she told me she would be a raccoon if she could be any animal. Of course, I did persuade her to switch to Otter, but I still think back to her original desired form.

I'll confess, I often wonder what life would be like if we became our desired forms, rather than existing as just humans.

Would it be all we hoped for? Maybe better? Maybe worse? A bit of both?

Obviously, we have to live with what we are given, and not be so engrossed in what we don't have, that we miss opportunities for happiness where we are. At the same time, it's hard to grow if we don't have a direction that we want to grow in. But how big is too big a dream?
