You know, this page reminds me of a question I've had bopping around in my brain for a while. We know about Daryil's sex drive, the clan's affinities for fear and lust, and his genetic tweaks to his clan even before ascension... but I've long wondered. What would Daryil think about an asexual member born into this clan? Whether with a libido, with barely any, with none whatsoever, or even one that's sex-repulsed.

... Poor cubi would probably end up constantly stumbling into situations around horny people and sexual misadventures, completely by accident, by following their emotion radar. X3;;; Maybe they'd work well as a bouncer at a club?

I wonder how he'd react to a clan member going "hey, yeah, the sex drive thing... do you know how to turn it off?" X3 "I get that bodies have needs, but rubbing one out is a chore. Yeah, it feels nice, but no nicer emotionally than, like, finishing up the sweeping."

Actually, you've pretty much described Professor Fa'Rana. It didn't end well, as you can see with him being one of the antagonists of the comic. But that was more because he likes killing people than because he is sex-repulsed.
A clan member like that would definitely be an in awkward spot because they'd be dependent on emotions which they can't really get themselves. They might lean towards fear, which might be what happened to The Professor. These days, Daryil would definitely provide them with a support framework.

So they might end up more like a Kish'ta clan member, then. Ooh, I bet they could still get their fill working in a theater! Or, as said, a club bouncer. Plenty of ambient lust, and it's handy to have a bouncer who isn't easily swayed by a pretty body. Honestly, even just being roommates with another Daryil clan member might generate enough ambient lust to satisfy that emotional-nutritional need. X3
