This time, I will show you a part of the latest work the year 2022. Takeru, as you all know, is a samurai wolf that I painted between 2008 and about 5 or 6 years ago. (I used to call him "Semi-Anthro" because of his strong muscles like a bodybuilder and very different from the anatomy of a wild animal. But the word never stuck).🐺

This work is Takeru the Anthro of 2022, which I've been working on lately. Cool and cute, isn't he? He is a teenager, but in the Middle Ages, samurai had a ceremony called "Genpuku" (becoming an adult) when they were between 10 and 12 years old, and then they went out into the battlefield to fight, wearing armor. Takeru has a cute face, but in the sense of the Samurai age, he is an accomplished adult warrior. 😀

I'm currently working on a story in which he is the main character and survives the Warring States age with his friends -Oto the fox (his fiancée), Mikazuchi the wildcat (his best friend), Inayori the raccoon dog (his junior), Yachihoko the bear (his best friend), and Uzume the wolf (a relative)-. He is the orphaned son of a small, defunct lord of a certain region. He wears a beautiful armor composed of black and gold kofuda (plates) and bright red, blue and white odoshi (threads).
The general framework of the story has already been made and it's going to be quite an epic life story.😀

I hope that as many people as possible will know his story and love him. So I won't publish him at this time when I don't have many active followers yet. I hope that by the time I publish him, for example, it will be an account with over 1000 followers on Twitter. I have such a dream.
