'Z' truck flex drive reconnected.
Machine top cover replaced and electrical connections reconnected.
Bearing wipers have been replaced.
Loctite was then allowed to cure.
Test performed with 1/8" cutting bit, 1" thick scrap HARD oak salvaged from a 1960's era desk.
Passed with flying colours :)
Now to vacuum up the dust again :D

this is the kind of thing i should be spending my pitiful reserves on instead of going to furcon. but then since i don't have any place to put stuff like that (i still want to get some sort of rapid prototyping like that maker-bot or an old stl tank) and haven't been to one in several years ...
