Yeah, my kid was jokingly calling me a tiger killer, but she'll be playing with the costume parts for a long while, I'll bet.
I was hoping to get a full hood out of it from the beginning, but it just wouldn't work. Maybe I'll be able to add to it for next year. Some better neck and chest coverage would be great.

I lucked out with the paws. My hands squeezed past the wrist point and into the paws perfectly, so I simply cut finger holes into the pad-side surface. Then I wore white gloves underneath, making what little of my fingers did show, look like extended claws. As cool as that face looks, the paws were my favorite part.

It's not the first time I've done this. Waaay back in highschool, I had a buffalo plush that was falling apart. I took the head off, and presto!, I was a minotaur for Halloween.
Yeah, you start looking at all the plushes in the store as a costume base, not just a huggable.
