“Screw that party.
It’s chilly outside, much more than it was when I came to the commons, I should have dressed warmer. My sweatshirt’s inadequacy to block the heat was in this weather was made painfully obvious to me.
The clouds rolled back and looking up I saw the moon, full and bright. At least I had something to light my way home. A howl broke out, lifting itself over the whole town, clear and sharp over the hustle bustle of nighttime college town. As suddenly as it imposed itself on my ears, it grew silent. Dog-people, they’ll do anything with their animals including letting them run wild after dark.
The sound of padded feet against the paved ground. There it is again, and again was it that dog?
It’s moving fast.
I try to find the source, but it stops. There is nothing there.
A rustle from behind me. Eyes... Staring at me behind that tree.
I blink, Nothing is there.
I start to run, I trip over a branch and land on my side.
The sound of those feet again, bigger…than a dog.
It….it bit me.
Blood pours down my arm, and my attacker flees. Back on my feet I try to rip a piece of my sweatshirt off to staunch the blood, but even with my life on the line I can’t focus. My gaze is drawn upward to the moon, Why… Why…can’t I look away?
My heart is beating faster, and my body is on fire. I’m shaking…. I can’t speak -I can’t move. I can’t break the gaze, the white orb stares back it me. Silent, distant…beautiful.
The shaking’s gotten worse, my spine is screaming, I can feel my skin crawling, my clothes aren’t going to fit for much longer. The word flashes in my mind, a large dog, the full moon, still can’t look away. Werewolf.
Werewolves are a myth why is this happening? I feel claws replace my hands, and feet. My teeth are sharpening and my senses explode animal instincts are growing inside as my body matches it.
I am becoming a killing machine from a medieval nightmare.
Oh Lord forgive me for what I’m about to do.
Forgive….me”

Happy Halloween!
Spent more time one this, I’m just glad I finished it in time. More photoshop fooling this time, I used more than one layer on this!
I just went through another Castlevania game, and it demanded I do a traditionally evil monster and considering the scarcity of canines (and lack of better idea) in my gallery I give you this.
Same guy from the last two years has a run in on the way home with DESTINY. And a large mythical creature that shoulda eaten him and moved on.
And yes this was what gave me the idea: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4649911/
A lot of time went into this actually, I spent about an hour on lineart, 13 on coloring and the digital stuff. Hope ya like it.

Thank you, but yes i choose for the violent ones out of Medieval Christian Europe. These beasts were basically the embodiment of the fears of mankind in wolves and monsters, opposed to god and civilization. As the legend revolved around the lunar cycle, they were inherently mysterious, and being based off of wolves who morphed from human forms, it made them that much more terrifying.
Wow! This is just one of the best werewolf-themed pictures I've seen in a long time. It's got the emotion, the frightful action in the transformation, the sudden violence exploding into his mind as the rage consumes him, and of course, it's all so wonderfully rendered by your paw! And the story, with the prayer for forgiveness at the end, is the perfect touch to compliment this.
I salute you!
