.Biography: The Blossom clan has ancestry spanning from Britain to the Middle East, and spent mostly in Egypt where Cherry was born in Cairo. However, dealing with too much stress over the political changes in the country such as the Sultanate of Egypt and the Kingdom of Egypt and wanting to find better opportunities, Cherry's parents, Makram and Amina, quickly left Egypt after her birth and before coming up and deciding her name. When arriving in the United States, Makram and Amina, thought about giving her an English name and went with Makram's favorite fruit, unintentionally and humorously giving her the full name that is the same as the flower from cherry trees. Cherry replies to people about her name, "My parents didn't think ahead when naming me."
During her teenage years, she was inspired by famous aviator, Amelia Earhart, and Cherry successfully pursued a career in becoming a pilot when she got older. Afterward at the airport she worked at during one night, Cherry was almost the victim of a deranged killer. She survived and escaped with some bruises and cuts. She reported the police about it and gave the description of a rugged, menacing, male diamondback rattlesnake, who the police revealed to be a notorious serial killer named the Bad Omen Slasher who murdered 13 people and Cherry was almost his 14th victim. Horrified by her near clash with death at the hands of an evil man, her parents gave her an Arkaan Bullwhip, a family heirloom created by the Blossom family's secret crafting technique and formula of impervious and powerful bullwhips for self-defense. Cherry also took side activities in boxing and martial arts to protect herself better and became a highly skilled fighter. Inspired, she became a freelance bounty hunter, and her mentor and partner was a male griffin named Robert “Bobby” Hoskins, who was one of the best bounty hunters during their time and he taught her every efficient skill in catching and combating violent criminals. She hunted down and captured many fugitives from thugs, thieves, small-time street gangs, and smugglers. Despite her successful track record, Bobby tries on keeping her in control and think rationally due to her being reckless on the job.
Later in her bounty hunting career, Cherry and Bobby were in Brooklyn, New York, hunting down a mysterious thug who was reported stealing cars and selling parts for cash. They tracked down and found his apartment where they discovered his stash of newspapers of the people he killed, his knives, and guns, revealing he is the notorious Bad Omen Slasher. They spotted a hanging, recent newspaper on the wall about the United States President visiting the city and the Slasher is planning on assassinating him. Cherry hunted down the Slasher and prevented the President's death, however Bobby scolded Cherry for being reckless as usual. Cherry was praised as a national hero and gained attention for a new opportunity as she is offered a role in the newly established private vigilante group, the Lucky Mavericks, along with Walken, Fudge, and Neyla with Cherry voted as the leader and top field woman. Tired of working with Cherry, Bobby was given a position in the FBI when offered an opportunity due to his role in preventing the President's assassination. After their bounty hunter partnership ended, their former teacher/student relationship became a rivalry with the Lucky Mavericks rivaling the FBI in taking down dangerous criminals and villainous foes, including the infamous penguin crime lord, Tommy Gun Tuxedo. When Oliver got recruited into the Lucky Mavericks, Cherry mentored him along with Walken, Fudge, and Neyla.
.Personality: Cherry is a dedicated, loyal, and trustworthy leader while having a sarcastic and cynical sense of humor and quick temper when anyone, from enemies or even friends, act out of line and a tendency to respond with violence. She grew up having a desire to make something of herself by accomplishing major goals and gaining great positions in life such as learning great skills such as piloting and hand-to-hand combat.
Prior to being the leader of the Lucky Mavericks, Cherry acts as the "big sister" of the group and a mentor when it comes to teaching combat along with her fellow partners, Walken, Fudge, and Neyla. She puts the care of her own team, family, and others in need above herself and willing to make sacrifices for others.
.Inspiration: Cherry's appearance in the beginning was largely influenced by the character, Margaret Smith, from the Cartoon Network/Warner Brothers animated series, Regular Show, created by J.G. Quintel. Over time, her outfit is influenced by western clothing from Red Dead Online by Rockstar Games along with her sawed-off shotgun. Her hair design is influenced by the bunny character, Elsa Rose, who is owned and created by both BenjiPaws and me. Her name is stemmed from a past habit of mine of thinking of the word, cherry blossom, as humorous.
