It's official; the Apple iPod line is dead. Apple announced today they are discontinuing the iPod Touch, the last remaining product in the line. It's truly the end of an era (though I haven't used my Touch as much since I got my iPhone SE nearly two years ago.) My first Apple product was actually a fourth-generation iPod Nano (8 GB) that I got for my 20th birthday in 2008! In the photo here you can also see a 30 GB iPod Classic that belonged to my late grandfather, and a seventh-generation iPod Nano I got from work when we got a whole bunch of them from a school district. These iPods currently reside in my collection of Apple devices.
