So I've been doing some more furry art with more muscular figures, and I wanted to try blending that with some Victorian/Rococo influence. Monsieur DuSoir here iiis the latest result of that, and he's also an alternate form for a recurring OC of mine, Ciel Valier (see his base form here: https://www.deviantart.com/azure-li.....ean-881355145)
I'm still experimenting with both labels for my work and pen styles; went for something a little more scratchy than smooth this time, and trying to upload at a better quality. How's it look this way?

The flame pattern? Yeah, it was fun to work with- part of me thinks the individual patterns were too small and that I should have increased the size to make the pattern look a little less cluttered, but it came out fine enough in the end.
Though I’d say the gold embroidery around the buttons and cuffs of his coat are my favorite addition.

I guess so? Keep forgetting that's technically a separate era within the 19th century; the early decades don't pop up in my mind nearly as strongly as everything from 1840-onward, fashion wise.
Doesn't help that I really dislike Regency-era women's fashion, but I digress. Regency tailcoats & the elaborate neckties for men are a strong favorite of mine ^^
