Impax is Reptu's treasure hunting partner who tagalongs with him into the puzzle labyrinths. Reptu brings him along, because Impax often thinks outside the box and sees solutions that Reptu doesn't. Nevetheless, Impax is the more nervous of the two, and some of the mazes bring fears like darkness, heights, and getting lost, so Reptu helps him to keep moving along and not let fear get him stuck.

Perhaps in some cases, but it's mostly emotionally. The fear prevents him from wanting to continue and play it safe. Also if he were to get stuck with his horns in the mazes, the same problem would happen to me, since my horns are longer than his. Then again, his are twisted while mine are straight, so it's easier to get his caught in something.
