Jaith paddled herself and Flamemon to the edge of the flooded crevice. She grabbed for the wall along the underside of the walkway, but it was too eroded to support her and crumbled away. Thankfully Katsuo and Makoto were on dry land above the swimmers. The Kunemon dropped a thread down and scaled it like a military vetran with Flamemon on her back. The digimon's waist was just barely above the waterline when the both of them felt a tug of resistance.

"Somethings got me!" Flamemon cried!

There was something under the water, a digimon with huge claws had a tight grip on the imp's leg!

Water started to rush out of the crevice and into the next room beyond the flood gate. With less water to hide it, the hand around Flamemon’s ankle became more visible and it became a prime target for Makoto's stinger!

"Ghwwaaaraa!"

The hand released Flameon's ankle! This whole time the imp was heating up, creating an aura to protect herself, but she managed to stop and cool down before she burned Makoto or Jaith. All three of them were still dangling on the silk rope. Roughly thirty feet below them the water fell to half its original height and revealed the digimon underneath. It was Raremon! An unnaturally vibrant green one with a sickly stench and a glitchy aura surrounding its form!
