An old folk tale passed down about a small village in a valley, an old man who lives there, and a wooden statue that just might be more than it appears.

A very short and mostly-unedited little story that I hadn't planned on writing. Don't expect much, it's just something that I felt like getting out there. At the time of this submission, I think there's only one other person in the world that will understand why this folk tale exists now.

Hopefully it won't be long before I have something more substantial to post.
