Marcel is a homicidal French hound who seems to have missed the memo about 'hippies' no longer being in style. She has a bubbly, honest personality that doesn't fit the typical profile for your every-day murderer, but there you are. Experiencing death in the family at a young age, the dog claimed to have pushed her grandfather down the staircase leading to his death. Following this (a police report that found her innocent and a psychiatrist who said she was just feeling guilt over being present when her grandfather has his accident), she proceeded to systematically exterminate her family, claiming responsibility each time (because lying was a grave sin in her mind), but receiving no punishments as everything looked like accidents and everyone believed she was simply a compulsive confessor.
She murdered her older brother at 10, pushing him into a river near the family campsite after an argument. Next was her younger sister and aunt when Marcel turned 13. She set the summer house on fire after locking the others in their rooms. Marcel's confession was taken seriously for the first time, but the fire marshall couldn't determine that arson had taken place and given the dog's history, he released her to her parents and psychiatrist. At 18, Marcel killed her mother by putting cyanide into some soup her father prepared.
Jacque, Marcel's father, was found guilty of murdering his wife despite his daughter all but screaming from the steps of the courthouse that she was the one responsible. He went to prison and Marcel visited him regularly. When he asked her why she had killed everyone but him, the female hound replied with a laugh: "Drôle, Papa! Je ne peux pas te tuer quand tu es à l’intérieur de la prison.” (Very funny, Papa! I can't kill you when you're in prison.) Jacque committed suicide the next day.
Marcel easily gained access to college with the sizable inheritance she received along with her 'tragic' history. She studied interior design (killing a few in her college career, but no one taking her seriously) and after graduating, opened a business with her friend, Lucile Blanc. It was successful for a time until Lucile's cocaine addiction drove them bankrupt and Marcel had to start compensating money from her own pocket. The hound eventually became tired of the affair and committed her first murder in years (interior designing and generally keeping busy had slaked her thirst for death), overdosing Lucile on her own drugs. Marcel was investigated briefly, but the death was eventually ruled an accidental overdose.
Currently, the dog has taken to traveling, murdering now and again when the mood takes her about once every two years or so.
