this is a bit of (self-serving) fan-art for a game called The Endless Forest. TEF is less of a game and more like an ongoing piece of virtual performance art. the players are the cast, The Forest is the stage, and developers Michael and Auriea are the directors.

in the game you play a Deer. you do Deer things like running, eating, and sleeping. but you aren't just any deer, The Twin Gods have given you special powers and as an adult you can cast spells on other Deer to help change their appearance.

it is Halloween time in The Forest and i'm always so inspired by the creepy, foggy atmosphere. my Deer, Artemis, likes the fog, especially because she has candles on her antlers to light the way.
