I always like when I can get art and especially YCH's that fits with themes or shows things around characters that are just spot on. This is one of those.
Iris is supposed to be a succubus as far as they go in my lore or universe or whatever. I think I've mentioned this but short recap. They work slightly differently here. Instead of seducing people and stealing their, you know... a succubus in this world is someone that manipulates emotions.
Normally you can't directly influence anyone else with magic (Or everyone would just brainwash each other, had to nerf that yaas.). With sufficient training however you can become adept enough in understanding your own emotions that you can supercharge them with magic.
It's not for the faint of heart mind you, overloading yourself on negative emotions can be very dangerous. This is a great tool in itself as it works in reverse too, no more fear, complete focus etc. Iris studied with some very dubious people and learned how to project her emotions to others. She quickly realized that lust was a very powerful key to making people do what she wanted. She became an expert in snowballing the lust in people, and should they do anything to awaken her lust, they just got it shot back at themselves. When her victims eventually get so caught up in their emotions that they can't think, their mana becomes predictable and easy for Iris to steal or play with.

She also loves casually doing this to her roommates who can be about their daily business like usually and then having a torrent of emotion suddenly wash over them. They've gotten used to it by now though, except for a certain snake...
I had a lot of thoughts on how to visualize how it'd look when she projected her emotions but this gave me a great idea:
It's like a fine yellowish dust of mana that she can either spread in the air and it clings to people, or gather up in her palm and blow at them like a concentrated kiss of emotions. Should be visible and understandable enough I think.
