"As a hatchling, my kind has very light scales. That's because we're Cold Drakes. Anything from white to light grey, light blue, light sea-blue, some even light burgundy. This is because my kind has lived in cold mountainous regions for many generations, and to hide our young from potential threats (yes we have those unfortunately) our mothers make nests in the best snowy spots and create strong hideouts with stones.

Oh, my wings? That's a trait I forgot to mention. You see, we may be Cold Drakes but on the inside our wings emit a shadow-like substance. Although, it's not really shadow, it's just something that doesn't reflect any light. Humans have just called it shadow for so long, because they didn't know any better at the time. I mean, hey, it works for the elders who fly at night. They can fly covertly and silently like owls.
And yes, I always loved blue and white shiney objects. Mummy got the diamond for me because I was her first hatchling. Now, whenever I see a bright blue diamond, I always think of her."
