~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The outer walls to the church were being strained, warping at the main support beams. A low, steady creak could be heard, thick cracks working their way up the corners of the church interior walls. It was quickly growing more and more dangerous to allow the battle to drag on much longer, or else the entire building was going to be brought caving in upon them.
Pith was losing his intense focus, freely losing his mind of patience or pace, sending debris fluttering about all around, bashing and bouncing off walls like a hail storm, making things even more chaotic as he was tearing his way into Blaze’s mind. Only when Green broke through the now more random storm of junk she swung that blazing left arm, causing Pith to break his line of sight with Blaze, ready to turn his mind bending talents to her just as Blaze too was prying himself back up to his feet.
The mentally unstable poltergeist drifted backwards, unaware of the large cedar cross that was situated right behind him, merely touching to it sent a formidable jolt through his transparent frame, scrambling his senses and obstructing his movement. His amber glimmering eyes glowing brighter now that he could see the danger he was in, Blaze kicking it into high gear, powering through the pews and debris just as Green was bounding her way over each like high school hurdles. He couldn’t escape, couldn’t flee as the two leaped, fist’s blazing to impact his semi solid form. Portions of his midsection began to tear and dissipate, blown right back to shatter the cross with his form scattering like dust in the wind, all of his ectoplasm used up…. For now.
It was as if someone had flicked a big ‘off’ switch. All of the debris just plummeted, pounding the floor in one big messy heap. Blaze and Green both left drained and in awe they even managed to end the fight.
By far this fourth and final picture of the set really stunned me the most, the artist really did save the best for last. It’s one great asymmetrical finishing blow. And the blurred focus upon the one central point does a pretty good job of balancing the picture and keeping you focused right where the action is.
Thanks again SteelTigerWolf. You did a great job on these. ^_^
Ah,
I found the answer why.
actually put this series up about a whole year ago. As he is the artist to credit for this work.
put this series up about 6 months ago, as he did help me with getting this commissioned & his character [b]Blaze[/] is involved in it.
And then lastly you have my
account here. I was pretty late to getting in gear and putting it up. I blame it for my shortness of time and my procrastination habits.
Sorry if this all confused or baffled you at all. But hope this answer helps clear it all up.
