One little prob, though...is there any danger of your getting set upon for "stolen valor," wearing a uniform that isn't "yours?"
I had bought some old medals to put on my Hyenas Brigade uniform, and THEN found out about it not being considered proper, legal, or right to wear them. Nobody got in my face about it, thankfully, but it took the fun out of having "chest candy" to go with the uniform I'd made.
In my case, it was an entirely made-up uniform, but I've heard that real insignia should not be worn.
This being a uniform of a now-defunct foreign military, you might get away with it, but still...
What's your take on it?
