You may recognise this from back in February. I wasn't really too happy with that, especially since it was written for a good friend's birthday. Anyway, as that friend, and a few other people said it felt rushed, and to be honest, I did too after re-reading it, I decided to re-write it and post it again, so here it is. Enjoy.

Alexis burst in the front door and into the living room of her father, Drake’s mansion. Drake himself was sitting on the sofa talking to Nate, who you would swear was his twin; however they had no blood relations. Upon Alexis breaking the living room door off of its hinges, and tossing it over the sofa into the back wall, she burst into the room, mumbling something inaudible in anger. Drake looked up at his daughter and asked, “What’s wrong?”
Alexis let out a loud roar that sounded like it would come from a lion, not the 19 year old girl she was, before she hit the wall in frustration, causing the entire building to shake and Nate to cover his head from falling plaster. Drake got up and put his hand on Alexis’s shoulder, “Calm down Alexis.” However, all he got was a punch in the jaw for an answer, which resulted in him being sent flying backwards and landing back in the sofa. The sofa itself was across on the other side of the room, which also meant Nate had to dive off the sofa or risk being impacted by the draconian knight.
Looking at Alexis, you wouldn’t think she had that kind of strength. She had a defined and slightly muscular build, the kind an athlete would have, but she didn’t look all that strong. At that point in time she was wearing a sleeveless top that was low cut and a little too short, revealing her defined six pack, a sleeveless black jacket that was always open when she had it on, black boots, and second skin jeans.
Drake had landed upside down on the sofa, his legs over the back and his head hanging off the front. He rubbed his jaw as the bone slowly relocated and repaired itself, due to the light draconian Sylvanas’s magic. “The hell was that for? I was just trying to talk to you,” he asked as he righted himself into a sitting position.
Nate, who had been using the sofa as a barricade of sorts in case Alexis decided to throw any other make-shift projectiles, peeked over the top just in time to see the Spirit knight storm off down the hallway. A loud slam and crash occurred seconds later as she slammed a door shut, ripping it straight through into the room with her, frame and all. Nate stepped out around the sofa while Drake attempted to recover from the blow. “She’s definitely Leo’s daughter” he grumbled through the intense stinging that plagued his jaw as Nate followed the foot prints Alexis had stomped into the carpet and flooring.
Alexis was lying down on a pile of cushions in the library, some of which had been torn to shreds. She took a few quick sniffs at the air before turning to look at where the door had previously been attached to the wall, just before Nate stepped foot into it; looking about where the door frame used to be.
Nate took a deep breath before sighing, trying to muster up the courage to go in and try to talk to her. She was mad and he didn’t want to go the same way as the pillows, since he knew she would have no trouble ripping a person in two if the mood struck her; and unlike Drake he didn’t have Sylvanas to heal any wounds she may inflict on him.
She let out a low growl before turning away from him, looking up at the ceiling. Nate ignored the growl, not sure if it was an empty threat or not; he sat down next to her before asking, “What’s wrong Alexis?” She didn’t answer but rolled over onto her side, looking in the opposite direction to him, “I just want to help” he said to her. Alexis sighed and rolled over to face him, “Its Dean.” She confessed, “He freaked out and split with me because I showed him that I’m a lioness. He said I was a freak; maybe he’s right.”
“You’re not a freak Alexis.” Nate told her, “And frankly, Dean is an idiot for breaking up with you.”
Alexis smiled at him and kissed him gently on the lips, “Thanks Nate” she said, breaking the kiss and then walking out the library. Nate blushed when she kissed him, seeming more like more than a ‘thank you’ kiss from a friend to him. He watched Alexis leave the room and then got up himself, taking a book from the shelf to read, but he couldn’t get the Spirit Knight out his head, he soon found himself blushing from the train of thought he couldn’t lose.
What Nate had said cheered up Alexis a little but, although she wasn’t going to admit it any time soon, she did feel like a freak, an outcaste; someone, something that shouldn’t exist. Alexis was and is the only spirit knight in existence; her soul is split into three parts. One third of it she inherited from her father, a dragon, while she got her human and Lioness portions of her soul from her mother, which also explained the roar she had let off earlier in her anger. Alexis no longer felt anger but she did feel self pity for what she was, she pitied herself for being different. She wanted no more than to be normal, to be human or even a draconian knight, because then she wouldn’t feel so alone, so much like a freak. She looked around the area she had absentmindedly wondered into, the dragon’s eye. The basin below her, cut naturally from the mountain she was standing on, was a beautiful sight to behold at sun down and warmed the heart of any and all that saw it, it lifted sorrow for its duration and washed away all negative thoughts in those short few minutes, a time of perfect peace. She climbed up into a nearby tree and sat on its branch as she awaited sun down that would come in a matter of minutes.
Alexis watched as the sun dived behind the mountain, the last light of the day hit the crystals in the hole that punctured the mountain. The light fractured in the crystals making a rainbow inside the mountain that then reflected off the water bellow and shone back up and out of the peak. She felt relaxed as she watched, being a feline she was naturally inclined to liking shiny things but she also thought that this light show was beautiful in its own special way, it was like she was seeing the soul of Algriga itself in this moment. Eventually the feline fell asleep in the tree, a deep peaceful sleep that she had been longing for all day.
Alexis woke the next day, still on that same branch she had been on all night. She yawned widely as she sat up on the branch and looked around sleepily before dropping off the branch and landing on the shadow of the tree and then sinking into it. Alexis looked around, she had only been here three times and the shadow realm still made her shiver, not just from the cold but also that she found it creepy. Everything here was pitch black and any object around was just dull grey so it could be seen.
Alexis travelled through the shadow realm, going home after she had calmed herself down from Dean’s actions and words, although part of her would still like to beat the shit out of him. She soon arrived at her father’s mansion and walked into it before emerging from a shadow in the house. Alexis looked around the room she had emerged in, not recognising it; it was plain with just a bed, a desk and a dresser but not much else making it look quite a bit bigger than it actually was. She sniffed around the room whilst absently walking around the room and knocked into the desk and knocking a messenger bag off the desk. She picked it up and put the things back into it. However she couldn’t resist her curiosity and took back out a sketch book that she had put away.
Alexis sat at the desk and opened the book; at first she saw nothing in it but notes and a map of Algriga that was still being drawn, but a round half way through the sketch book she saw drawings of... herself. These pictures weren’t the best but they were detailed, right down to the burn mark on her right shoulder. Alexis couldn’t decide whether this repulsed or flattered her, that whoever this was drew her so. She was just about to put the sketch book away when she heard the door open and she looked towards it where she saw Nate in the doorway, him blushing upon seeing that she was looking at his sketches of her in his sketch book. Alexis looked at the book and then at him; she just stood there, looking at him for a couple of seconds, countless thoughts flying through her mind. However, before she could voice any of them, Nate ran from the room. Alexis put the sketch pad down and ran after him, but she lost him at the long corridor that seemed to lead to more rooms than the average castle had.
Alexis walked down stairs where she saw her father sitting on the couch. She walked over to him and stood in front of him, when he looked up she asked him, “Do you know where Nate went?”
“I saw him run out the side door faster than I have ever seen him move,” Drake answered his daughter, “Why, did you upset him?”
“I think I might have. I need to find him”
“Well, he was going east” he told her, “try picking up his scent.”
Alexis jogged out of the side door and headed east as her father had suggested, all the while trying to get a lock on Nate’s scent. She eventually got it after a good while and tore through the forest, following him.
Eventually arriving at the Castle of Night, Alexis could smell Nate’s scent heavy in the air as she walked up to decayed staircase, signalling he was still here, somewhere inside the grand structure. The half destroyed dragon statues that lined the bottom of the stairs seemed to watch her as she assended to the large oak double doors that were big enough for a full size dragon to walk through. She stepped through the opening as the doors had been left ajar for longer than she could remember and once inside she found Nate sitting on the throne at the far end of the room.
Alexis smiled as she walked along the tattered carpeting to the throne and walked up to Nate. She put her hand on his shoulder and shook him gently. He pulled his hood back from over his eyes and looked at Alexis, “I’m sorry.” Alexis said, “I didn’t mean to look through you’re things. I just wanted to know whose room it was.” She looked at him apologetically, her eyes resembling that of a kitten who wanted something, big and cute.
Nate looked at her for a few seconds before smiling and saying, “ok.” He said, “I guess I over reacted” Nate sat up from his reclined position, and hugged Alexis gently, who hugged him back. Alexis smiled before standing back up after he pulled her into the hug and smiled at him, “want to go home?” she asked him. Nate nodded and got back up before a deep growl eminated from one of the side doors of the castle.
Alexis looked around at the door and saw a fiend stalk into the room. This one looked like a stripe less tiger with a metal plate on top of its forehead, steel claws, a multitude of gashes along it’s body and looked to have a powerful body. Alexis stood in front of Nate, her arm out to stop him moving forwards, “Stay behind me” she told him.
Nate looked up at Alexis, “But...” he started, however Alexis shot him a look that told him to shut up right then and there. The Fiend slightly circled in front of them, sizing up the two humans for a few seconds before it suddenly charged and pounced from half way across the room, leaping the incredible distance at a high velocity. Alexis growled and punched; as she did she shifted into her anthro lioness form, she struck the fiend square in the jaw and sent it flying back to the other side of the room. It landed on its feet and shook its head, trying to shake off the pain and shock the impact had caused it. The fiend looked back at the two of them and growled before quickly running off back into the castle, deciding against a second attack.
Nate looked up at the lioness in front of him; although he could only see her back he could see she was built like a tank. She was twelve feet tall, tanned fur and had muscles that could easily be seen through her fur due to their incredible size. Her jeans had been shredded by her thick thighs and calves, leaving her in what appeared to be jean shorts that only covered her firm ass. Her shirt had rode up even further, and from what he could see from behind her barely covered half of her bust which had gotten bigger with the rest of her.
Alexis turned around to look at Nate as he took in her new form, while in this form she looked very intimidating with her muscular body and lioness like face she had a warm smile on her face that told him this was still the same person he knew. The girl he had known for the past few months since he had arrived in Algriga. She crouched down to his height and hugged him against her, “Are you ok?” she asked Nate.
“Yes, I’m fine” Nate answered, blushing softly as she had her large breasts pressed against him, almost entirely covering his chest and neck.
Alexis let go of him and backed up a little bit. She looked at herself before looking back at him, “I didn’t mean for you to find out this way.” She told him, “I was going to show you and everyone else together. I bet you hate me now right? I mean, it was this form that made dean break up with me, he though I looked like a freak with all this muscle.” To emphasis her point Alexis flexed her right arm, her bicep steadily bulging from her arm until it peaked just above her fist. “Actually,” Nate said, “I think you look beautiful.” He blushed deeply when he said this, “I mean look at you.” He smiled, “I guess the best way to put it is; you’re extremely sexy” Nate smiled up at Alexis and hugged her around her waist, only just being able to wrap his arms around her as her waist was thin compared to the rest of her, giving her a perfect hourglass figure.
Alexis looked down at him and dropped her flex before smiling at him, “Thanks Nate” she said before picking him up and hugging him against her again, this time however she planted a kiss on his lips, pressing it deeper as she held it. Nate blushed deeply, not expecting her to so suddenly kiss him and as passionately as she did. Once the shock had passed Nate closed his eyes and kissed her back, running one of his hands through her long, golden locks, hearing her start purring softly from the feeling of him doing so as they kissed. Nate pulled back from the kiss and smiled at Alexis, “Alexis, there’s something I’ve been wanting to say to you. I’ve been a bit scared to but I guess now is a good time.” He took a deep breath before saying, “Alexis, I love you.”
The anthro lioness looked in to Nate’s eyes for a second before she answered, “I love you too, baby” She sat down in the throne with Nate on her lap, the two resuming kissing each other once again, Alexis feeling great that she was finally with him, the man she had been longing silently for the longest time. Meanwhile a great many thoughts raced through Nate’s mind over what had happened and what he wanted to happen in the future, but one thought rained predominantly, he loved her and thought himself lucky to have such a sexy lioness love him in return.
