⦁ Biography: Jocaste is one of the many 1/2 mermaids born unto Junichiro & Palutena. She was born just a day after Serhilda was. She is a type of mermaid who is a seahorse mermaid; meaning her tail is that of a seahorse's instead of a traditional mermaid's tail. Jocaste, whilst she was growing up, was shown to be one of a handful of magic prodigies; having inherited majorly her mother Palutena's skill for magic. She thus decided to train as a mage to better make use of her magical prowess, learning the ropes from her mother, proving to be quite the student. She also found that she had inherited her father's sense for law & order; leading to her immense mastery of the Arcane arts. After learning the basics, when she learned that Juni was taking some of her sisters to Azeroth for further training, she was quick to tag along; booking a place in Dalaran to enhance her talents more & associate herself with the bases of the Arcane Mage. Jocaste had a hard time getting the full lengths of arcane power however, but once she got the hang of it, she was once more a quick study; impressing even her father & sisters to the point that her training as an Arcane Mage was finished, but she still had room to improve. During her stay however, she also befriended several races of Azeroth; including those of the Horde. Though saddened that Tauren mages aren't a thing, she still developed a deep respect for them. Despite this, she, like her father & sisters who trained in Azerothian fighting ways, often got invitations to join the Alliance fully. She however, always turned them down; preferring her stance as it is. Even so, Jocaste is ready to lend her magic when it is needed at any time. Jocaste is a very friendly & approachable woman as is to be expected from anyone in Juni's family. However, beware as she can sometimes get lost in thought. But she also suffers from musophobia; a fear of mice & rats. However, it is rats that Jocaste has the strongest fearful reactions to, causing her to overuse her magic on just one and forcing someone to calm her down so she doesn't run out. Unlike Hypatia, Jocaste is more welcoming of Summer, and is always ready to hit the beach once it's in full swing. However, she is not too fond of warlocks who use their powers for evil. Owns the biggest magic novelty collection.
⦁ Abilities: As a 1/2 mermaid, Jocaste is capable of taking on her mermaid form at any moment she enters the water so long as it's fresh, or seawater. Jocaste is a true master of the arcane arts; having learned the ebb & flow of arcane magic to near perfection to the point that using it poses no danger to herself, or her friends & family. Though her specialization does mean she misses out on what the other specializations learn, she's nonetheless happy with what she knows & makes good used of the few fire & frost spells she does have. Though one of her favorite spells to use is Polymorph whether it be for crowd control, or simply to make someone stop talking for a while. Either way, she knows all an Arcane Mage is capable of knowing. Her starting gear is as follows.
⦁ Brilliance Staff: A staff gifted to Jocaste by her majesty High Queen Serenity. It grants Brilliance Aura when currently in use.
⦁ Aluneth: Jocaste's own copy of the original artifact staff. She has an easier time using this as it doesn't contain a soul inside of it, and it's just as strong as the original despite it.
⦁ Arcanite Excalibur: A one-handed sword looking exactly like the same sword of legend & is named after such. This magic sword can shoot sword beams of pure arcane power.
⦁ Mithril Butterfly Knife: A Balisong Knife forged of mithril. Jocaste knows how to open & close it skillfully & quickly if an opponent is too close. Her trick level with it however, is way below that of Demeter & Hera's.
