A piece from January. I'll copy my comments from dA! Also, I forgot to credit Kharon in the actual image. Sorry. =>.>=
"Ah, the 1930s. The era when heads were spheres, drinks were XXX, and everything knew how to dance. And fresh from the 1930s, we're proud to bring you some Old-Timey Fun! Let's go through a quick rundown of who's who, shall we?
Whyte - Retroactively redubbed "Blinky" here, Old-Timey Whyte is actually loosely based on Felix the Cat. From memory. It's the eyes. Also, his shoes kind of look like baguettes.
R'sheena - She actually looks almost sort of like she does normally. As you can see, she falls into the "seductive woman" Old-Timey character type, which isn't entirely accurate. She also has something I would normally never, ever do: big, thick lips.
Kharon - Nicknamed "Clyde". You should be able to see where I was drawing some of my Old-Timey Names from. He looks basically nothing like he normally would, mostly because he looks a lot more villianous. Find me an Old-Timey wolf who was not evil.
Nori the Rascal - I broke my naming convention! Nori's avatar is a raccoon, so naturally he's a thief, and he's stealing a bag full of fountain pens. Nori is a swell guy for letting me include him here. Really, his generosity is just of enormous proportions. Subtle humor. Only the finest here, folks.
Robot Master #003 Cutman - A wonderful mechanical marvel of the future, poor Cutman has retroactively lost his arms and legs, having been reduced to using an assortment of internal tools. He still has the scissors on his head, though. If you're wondering, I was running out of characters to Old-Timeyfy, so I stuck Cutman in there. Same with...
The Metroid! - There's not really much effort put into this one at all. This is all I could come up with, sorry. =^.^=; Basically it's just a little more octopus-like in that it has a solid surface of skin and there's a face stuck on. Maybe I don't have enough characters to go around.
And that's the first wave! If I come up with any more characters I'll add them in later.
Now I'll do a dance."
