Ultra Magnus' alt mode is that of a car carrier. Meaning he can carry other Autobots into battle. He could also do the same in robot mode, but really only for fun.

The idea for this pic started after seeing some bits of the (rather atrocious) comic "Transformers: Deviations", which was basically The Transformers: The Movie, except Optimus didn't die. In it, Ultra Magnus was a real dick to Hot Rod (Seems like everyone was in this, but he was the worst) and the two butted heads kind of a lot, which I know is NOT how their relationship is.

I thought about their interactions everywhere else, and how it was kind-of like a "Father & Son" relationship in some places. Then I got the Idea of Ultra Magnus giving Hot Rod a piggyback ride, and decided to try it out. With the help of Magnus' top armor piece having a flap that folds back, I was able to keep Hot Rod on him.
