What Paul never thought was that life after death was so difficult. And he much less he thought that each country had a different hell. Being accidentally killed by a divine servant. Pablo became a strange yokai of intermediate power. The first thing he was taught after being given a place in the magical and occult world unknown to humans was the fact that he should serve the high spirits at all times and in return he would be allowed a small sanctuary in the forest. After that Pablo became the almost full-time errand boy for all the high-level creatures in all of Japan, even being sent to clean and restore damaged temples or from time to time helping the shinigami harvest souls. All this while he increases his magical power secretly from everyone to try to return to his placid island in the center of the Caribbean but every time he is about to leave something of him holds him back.
He has an almost human appearance with the difference of having an exposed skull for a face whose empty sockets usually light up with a deep purple hue that can petrify any mortal being who looks directly at them. A tangle of rather poisonous snakes replaces his scalp. Two red horns can also be seen from his head. The rest of his body appears to be somewhat emaciated. And his hands with sharp claws show perfectly functional green eyes on top. And finally a pair of enormous purple feathered wings worthy of a tengu.
Personality:
He is quite reserved with others to the point of not having many friends, (incredibly he became friends with the spirit that killed him) He likes many mythology books and comics which can be seen inside his temple if you dare to look inside. Other than that he doesn't draw much attention among the other supernatural beings. Apparently.
Skills:
Sharing many of the powers with the yama-uba, Pablo is a powerful sorcerer capable of imparting blessings and curses alike on all transformations to which he takes great care. He is able to manipulate the weather to some degree, allowing him to unleash violent gales when he is angry. His many assignments have forced him to learn the occasional trick from other magical entities, thus having a huge gallery of skills that he has not yet fully exploited.
