I really like this situation. The feeling of how both of 'em make small steps of progress in their communication with each other! And this feelable sparkling moment of the last panels with the small written and shy loughings!
Also very good to get some hints on how Amethysts family was - her mother in this case - when she was younger. It seems a totally opposite on how Ripples parents decided to raise their little girl.
But hey! Even it's very insecure as it seems, but both of them talk to each other and smile... a little bit... at last!
