It had just appeared, without warning. As the things always did, but it still doesn't make it any less terrifying. It looked like a giant hellish 'Elephant' wearing an equally as large squid or a jellyfish for a hat. The sight of it, and that sound it was making... like some madman of had managed to combine the sound of a rabbit's pained/death screams with the guttural rolling growl of an alligator... it was enough to send overwhelming chills of fear and shock through anyone's spine.
And it was heading you're way.
Some of your fellow citizens couldn't move, fear gripped them such that they seemed rooted to the hard concrete. Even you were having trouble making an escape. It all felt so surreal, which you guessed was supposed to be the point in some regards. These massive 'things' from some dark nightmare dimension... it was terrifying, but you couldn't take your eyes off it... you...
"Don't Worry Everyone! We're Here to Help!" came a familiar voice, breaking you out of your daze as you turned to the source of the voice. Standing there at her immense height was the Guardian known as Tawna, her kind face looking right at you... or at least it felt like it. "Would you please make your way to the nearest shelter?" as you could see her fellow Guardians mobilizing to meet the 'Hellephant'.
You must've been trembling, or something, as she leaned down. "Do you require assistance sir?" she asked, addressing you personally.
Haven't messed with my 'Guardians' idea in what feels like forever.
So when the opportunity to commission someone for a YCH piece, I decided it was time to revisit the world of the giant warriors. And decided to use Tawna as the subject. She's a cutie.
