The dark patches on her legs, are they markings, shadows or dirt?
I absolutely have adored watching this thing come to fruition, and this is a piece I've actually been looking out for! She's an absolutely adorable character.

Oh, alright!
It had me looking hard at it, because the shadows were so different than what was on the tree, and they didn't cast over her whole leg, still having the highlights on it's side. The shading on it is absolutely beautiful, though, and very reminiscent of how leaves really do cast shadows!

I'm not sure why she's sad, as she's not my character, but I'm assuming it's because she's a neutral Elfane. All the other Elfane have magic abilities, but there's nothing special about a neutral. I'd imagine that'd make them very jealous or sad.

She has a twin sibling who has an element, and every now and then she has a sad/angry day because there's nothing special about her and it gets to her.

My plan is for that to change someday through roleplay/story maybe, but it'll be sometime.

I'm going to say thank you since most of that was me. C: It was a collab, I drew the original and flat colored, Terrah refined the image in her style and inked, then shaded it for me.
