He looks pretty cool apart, possibly because of the spots.
How I made this? One of 2 ways:
1. This character was originally together in one piece, but I took him apart in Photoshop using the selection tools, or in Illustrator using clipping masks.
2. This character was originally constructed in separate parts, with separate pieces belonging to each layer for a 2D animation rig.
In this case, the method was option 2. He was a 2D rig. You could tell by the stiff arms and legs.
This is something fun I like to do with my characters. You could play a game with this setup with hangman, but instead of putting a character together, you're taking them apart. Also, you can group them into different combinations.

Love it! So cool and cute once apart! :3 (apart he couldn't chase Impax, which could instead chase the poor jaguar's parts x'3) I move the way you detach the neck and the belly as a unique and big piece! :3 Most of time, i see belly cut in two and neck as well, but in your style it looks so great honestly. Like such big pieces to hug, take care of ^^
Wow, you remembered that he chases Impax around. That gives me great joy! Yeah, I do things a little differently with the torso where I don't split it into two at the belly, because I like the looks of the belly's roundess all together. So I'm glad you like that.
Yes! So many pieces to hug and take care of. <3 I also like to use them as pillows to snuggle with. But, with Jurga, he can be a little bitter, so it takes a great deal of effort to make him purr.
