Ryan Perreault has a bit of a busy life, juggling work at Cafe 2000, his classes at Turquoise Hill Tech, and being live-in babysitter for three-year-old Rouge Hanabusa while her father Morado is away on Earth and her mother Violette is committed to her duties in the G-ARMS unit.

Days tend to start early at Rouge's house; as Ryan expected, she needs a clean Pull-Up. The young Bat, despite her being an advanced potty trainer when the sun's up (thanks to Ryan's coaching), completely loses her skills when she goes to bed. Today, she woke up wet... and so much more! For all her three years, she hasn't gone through a single night without needing a clean diaper or training pant in the morning; that said, whether or not things are sticky in the basement are always a coin toss.


I made this for  Perreault, who has now returned to FA, but isn't feeling optimal. I was hoping this would help cheer him up. Integrating the background with assets from Knuckles' Chaotix and 8-bit Sonic 2 was time-consuming, in addition to drawing and coloring the toys. Tried to figure out what to use for a poster that would fit in with the inside of a little girl's room. Sorta thinking it's redundant, given the battery-operated crawling Baby Kitty, but what can I do?

Rouge is wearing a girls' Pull-Up, circa 2000. In the SDG:M universe, Pull-Ups are a registered trademark of Tykables, not Huggies. It'll make sense later down the line.
