Ruth fell into the stereotype of 'high school sweethearts' and married her ex husband (ref coming soon) strait out of highschool. She wasn't even 20 before she became a mom and was stuck in the rut of being a stay-at-home mom with a full focus on home and her two kids (faternal twins, refs coming soon). As life went on and her kids left for college she and her husband had the moment to look at their lives and realize it wasn't what either of them wanted anymore. They're still very good friends, still both very active in their kid's lives, but both of them moving on to find who they are beyond the roles they'd been stuck in for the last couple decades.

Ruth can often be found hanging out at Kana's gaming cafe, The Growlery. Or any other shop in my collection of characters, really. She knows and loves everyone, often taking on the 'mom role' despite being barley any older than those she interacts with. As she's living her youth late in life, Ruth is prone to have one-night stands or multiple friends with benefits. She was tied to one partner for over twenty years and has no interest in being tied down again.
