This piece is nothing more and nothing less than my attempt (no matter how small), to try and do something for: Hi, How Are You? Day, 2022.
You don't necessarily have to have been a fan of Daniel Johnston to understand that one of the first steps to helping folks, who might be struggling with mental health, is to simply start the conversation...
"Hi, How Are You?"
I also wanted to try and honour the unique and fragile talent of Daniel Johnston with a little bit of whimsy, and that was simply to point out that in the end, frogs named Jeremiah will never steer you wrong, whether he's a stalk-eyed alien frog peering out over downtown Austin, TX on a famous mural, or the t-shirt that Kurt Cobain famously wore on MTV in 1992, or if he's a more run-of the mill bullfrog that Three Dog Night sang about in their 1971 cover of Hoyt Axton's song "Joy To The World", and who liked to share his wine ('cuz he always had some mighty fine wine!)
