Given parental support early on, but quick to leave the nest. Encouraged to spar with their clutch-mates and ultimately learn to hunt for themselves.
These are intelligent dragons who live in a community clan arrangement. They tolerate each other though hierarchies of honor and physical prowess. They are territorial. Fierce. Isolationist.
Nurth survives youth through luck and sparks of generosity from others. He is soft and endearing... but a poor fit for his clan.
He sets out on his own to prove his worth, and ends up a rather spoiled village guardian.
