"Every time I go out, I lose a little more of myself. I took expenses to lay down tracks in front of me and ride them by train to get through the desert. Life's passing me by in high speed. Only now realizing it was meant to be walked on foot. Skipping parts of the journey with my greed and craving for power.
Meanwhile, I can only dream of the way I'm supposed to lead. In my dreams, I'm followed by jackals deep in the mountains. Their shadows sometimes cross the moon and every time I feel a shiver down my spine when their eyes glow in the darkness. They know I'm not ready yet, that I have to face my fears...
I've been riding this train for years but it's too fast and too high to jump off. All I'm doing is waiting for an opportunity to arise, it's only getting harder by the day. Sometimes the fumes help me to shut off the fear, relieve me of the pain and provide guidance and clarity. Some other times, they just bring me closer to nirvana.
At least I have my little buddy who brings me back down to earth when I need it."
