This is a glorious work for me that was previously chosen for the Daily Deviation at Deviant Art. It was also the work with the most Favourites. It is one of my most memorable works. But it was recently deleted by Deviant Art without my permission for recent few years. Maybe it was mistaking of DA. I wonder where this drawing in DA went... 😭

East meets West
Two men on a dragon. This is a picture of a tiger warrior from the east and a wolf knight from the west meeting in the sky. The wolf armor is a medieval western motif. The tiger is a Chinese motif.
As far as I remember, the title was "Harmony". In 2007, I was dreaming of a future world where East and West meet and harmonize.🙂
"China would gradually harmonize with the international order and become a great and responsible power on par with the United States. The West will have a peaceful liberalism forever. A peaceful world with an even balance between East and West."
I dreamed so.
But in reality, the East is the selfish hegemony of China and Russia run amok, and the West is the "political correctness" warriors who are full of hypocrisy and deceitful run amok. The world has not become a harmonious society at all.
The world I envisioned in this picture 15 years ago was just an illusion.🙄

I wish we could be happy even if it is only in the world in the picture.🙂
