The second-youngest in the Harbingers of Liberty, Lydia was born in Miami, Florida but raised in California as her father took up an acting role in Hollywood. Her mother, a Puerto Rican Harbinger who went by the name 'Poderosa Marina' or 'Mighty Marina', mentored for Lydia's Harbinger training. When she went to college for a degree in acting and marketing, she interned at an agency as a model aid, then promoted to being a full-time model after becoming a hit on social media. After completing college, she opened her own agency and started offering her services for advertising and modeling, particularly bilingual services for tourism companies in the Carribean Sea and Pacific coast. As a first for Harbingers in the age of information, Lydia lives for the spotlight and is one of the biggest names on social media platforms.
In addition to breathing underwater as an aquatic species, Lydia’s Harbinger abilities allow her to soften and manipulate rock and topsoil.
The next Harbinger girl is ready for her debut, and as my first shark OC! Lydia Lopez represents the modern era of Harbingers, who instead of working behind the scenes with very rare appearances, they put themselves front and center, connecting and interacting with people around the world as they work through hell and high water to keep their fellow citizens safe. No matter where she goes, or how big she is, rest assured she's sure to draw a crowd.
Been a while since I last got another Harbinger girl reference, but once again
BeaTheBehemoth came through and delivered! Just like Sylvie, Lydia's standard loadout often includes lifeboats, life vests, and the occasional dinghy for ocean search and rescue. Even when she's pulling a sinking passenger ship, she can't help but show off a little. Who can blame her, though? :D
