This was due the other day for my Vector class, we had to create an event poster of some kind. I chose the Morton Arboretum and made up a music event that they could possibly have. There are still some small fixes and adjustment to the typography and to clean up the edges of the roots, but I figure I'll post this right now since i haven't had much to upload as of late. I hope you all enjoy it! :)

Very nice! I love the colors, and this is a very creative idea! I like the placement of everything, too.
I would shorten the letter spacing or choose a taller font, and nudge the date to the right away from the music a bit. But it sounds like you're on top of it. Just my perception.
