Here's my lovely boy again! This time back in cartoony style. As you can see, his design has changed quite a bit since the last cartoony drawing I made of him. His hair is no longer on the top of his head. It's not hair anymore, it runs all the way down his body, like a real dragon! I have made him look more like an eastern dragon overall, but the antlers/horns are something unique I decided to do. They're fused together, as you saw in the realistic drawing from last time. I made his ears and snout more like an eastern dragon too. During a few of my sketches over the past month I accidentally gave him really fat thighs in one of them so now it's canon he has huge thighs. I thought that would be funny.

As for the story aspect, everything is basically the same since the last update but I drew this to emphasize how human he is for being a deity. After swimming across the universe for billions of years it's nice for him to take a break and learn what getting drunk feels like.
I put a little more emphasis on his claws this time. Eastern dragons to have claws, but it's something more metaphorical this time. I chose the verb 'swimming' for a reason, and I believe the way he travels faster than light is through 'grabbing' onto space and pushing himself through it. He's a deity; he doesn't need to obey the usual laws of physics. Sometimes, his claws will 'tear' holes in space causing shortcuts through the continuum. Something we might call wormholes. There's a research facility on the story's homeworld named Icarus (name may change) dedicated to studying these rifts in space. Craziness ensues.
As for the sword, the story I came up for that is it is made out of the extracted iron from the blood of an ancient society who blighted his son. After he forged the blade from their resources, he went on to slaughter every last one of them with it. It's pretty dark, I know, but it got the creative juices flowing.


Off-topic, now that I've started watching MLP and have passed the part where Discord is introduced, I can see some resemblances. Of course, I chose to base this guy off Discord, as he's pretty similar in personality and design. That is certainly subject to change. I haven't seen much of Discord's backstory yet and I don't really like those characters who are purely good or evil. That is not what I seek out to do with Evren. So, I'll keep iterating him and coming up with other traits and maybe even a voice for him so he doesn't end up exactly like Discord.
