aka baby’s first plushie. of course the first time i ever try making a plush/pattern from scratch, and i go for this five-jawed bastard aflsdjflsjd XD;

his mouth opens up and leads into a pouch in his belly, so he can eat things! because why not. the jaws are held closed by rare earth magnets, and keep their shape through a combo of bruckram and aluminum craft wire. he’s mostly made of minky, with his claws and antennae being ‘mochi minky’/stretch minky, his teeth are felt, and his eyes are metallic spandex. he’s stuffed with polyfill and plastic pellets, and some quilting batting in his jaws. he’s about 12 inches long from snout to butt.

he took me about a month to make, with some of that time spent waiting for materials to come in the mail.
